Holding Swiss, French and Canadian citizenship, SophieI settled in Geneva over fifteen years ago. Having worked twelve years in the hotel industry, Sophie continued her career in the luxury and cosmetics industry before running her own event management company. Today she devotes most of her time to Himalayan mountaineering but remains a speaker and a consultant in external affairs for the coaching institute futura21.
After Mount Everest (8850m), Makalu (8485m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Shishapangma (8027m), Gasherbrum II (8035m), Broad Peak (8051m) and Manaslu (8163m), Sophie became the first Swiss and French woman by conquering 7 summits over 8000 meters.
NGO Norlha’s ambassador, in realizing her dreams, Sophie hopes to help women in Nepal achieve theirs. She aim to support Norlha’s projects for women.
