ShishaPangma main summit 8027m💯🗻💯
On April 26th, the leading team leaves at 4am and tears itself away from the tents despite the crazy wind and snow. We wait until 7am to follow them.
At camp 3 at 7500m, it is almost impossible to stand up, the wind is violent and the doubt settles in...
The track made a few hours before by the fixing team is totally covered, Pemba who was supposed to accompany me is taken of diarrheas and turns back. I find myself alone to start this huge crossing. The slope is steep and dangerous. Mathias and Kristin are in front of me, Viridiana and Dong behind. Lama @tenjin.sherpa.752 is in the lead, he does a great job to open the route and 7 hours later, around 5pm we reach the real summit of ShishaPangma at 8027m with perfect weather. A feeling of intense joy and a great privilege for our little group to reach this summit!...
We have to go back down.... At 9pm at camp 2.5, the next day at 6pm at the base camp, then Tingri then Kerung, then the border with Chinese and Nepalese formalities, etc... And 16 hours of jeep later finally Kathmandu! Oufff
What an expedition!

A really intresting climb. We were alone on the mountain. Hard job for Dawa Sangay opening the route and breaking trail. We climbed the ridge facing normal route to avoid huge crevasses ! 😅
