🇳🇵Cholatse story 🏔

We have just returned in Kathmandu, without the summit but with a great experience in our pockets!

Cholatse is a beautiful mountain, 6440m, technical with very few attempts each year.

@lisaroosli , @dawasangay_ , Gelu Sherpa, Pastenji Sherpa and I were alone on the mountain . We had Chantos as our cook and Rian as kitchen boy 👨‍🍳🧑‍🍳.
Thanks to @sevensummittreks for the great logistics as usual.

After our acclimatization, just above camp 2, we had to face a huge crevasse, unfortunately, it was impossible to cross it without a ladder….😫

The teatching of giving up came true when the obstacle is too great😇!!

Back at base camp after several days on the mountain, we decided to close the camp and continue our trip towards the Renjo Pass, 5414m and go to Thame.

A breathtaking panorama with a view of several 8000m peaks🗻 !
I really wanted to cross this pass for a long time… done ! 😊😊😊

All that's left now is to find another opportunity to return to Cholatse...

As the protagonist of the film, it's a moment of letting go, the images no longer belong to me. I have to enter into an acceptance mode, trust, patience and impatience to see the result 😍.
Discovering the story that has been created around your own story✨ .
Clearly not easy, but the experience is interesting.
A kind of relief when you understand that the film is completed. And a great achievement’ feeling of this long quest of the 14 x 8000ers 🏔️!
