🔙26 April 2023, exactly a year ago, with my dear girl friends @kristin.harila, @virialvarezmx and Dong we managed to the main summit of ShishaPangma 8027 m 🙏🇨🇳🏔️😍
Unfortunately, this exceptional memory is shattered by Tenjen Lama’s death that happened on the same slopes of Shisha Pangma a few months later 😔.
Intense joy and infinite sadness are the dilemma of life and death on these big mountains.
I think of you and miss you my dear little bhai Tenjen Lama Sherpa😢

🔙2019 – Annapurna 1 – 8091 m – Nepal - The 10th highest mountain in the world 🗻

I was afraid of climbing Annapurna.
Its reputation, its avalanches, its dangerous route 😓!
I succeeded in this expedition on the first attempt and that gave me a feeling of a great achievement💪.
Annapurna – The first conquest of an 8000 m peak, the French expedition of 1950 🇫🇷.
On April 23, 2019, it was a very modest but true feeling to have my crampon’s points that goes into history 🥳🤩!

🇳🇵Cholatse story 🏔

We have just returned in Kathmandu, without the summit but with a great experience in our pockets!

Cholatse is a beautiful mountain, 6440m, technical with very few attempts each year.

@lisaroosli , @dawasangay_ , Gelu Sherpa, Pastenji Sherpa and I were alone on the mountain . We had Chantos as our cook and Rian as kitchen boy 👨‍🍳🧑‍🍳.
Thanks to @sevensummittreks for the great logistics as usual.

After our acclimatization, just above camp 2, we had to face a huge crevasse, unfortunately, it was impossible to cross it without a ladder….😫

The teatching of giving up came true when the obstacle is too great😇!!

Back at base camp after several days on the mountain, we decided to close the camp and continue our trip towards the Renjo Pass, 5414m and go to Thame.

A breathtaking panorama with a view of several 8000m peaks🗻 !
I really wanted to cross this pass for a long time… done ! 😊😊😊

All that's left now is to find another opportunity to return to Cholatse...
