The Annapurna

Nepal
In 2025, I want to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the first ascent of Annapurna I by taking on a new challenge: to climb the four major peaks of this mythical chain. For me it is much more than a performance. A tribute to pioneers, a human adventure and a message of solidarity from the roofs of the world.

Honoring the Pioneers

Honoring the Pioneers

The idea was born in 2021, during the ascent of Pisang Peak, facing the Annapurna Range. With my lifelong companion, Dawa Sangay Sherpa, I then imagined a new challenge: in addition to Annapurna I (summit reached in 2019), climb the three other major peaks of the massif: Annapurna II, III and IV. An achievement that has never been achieved in its entirety. A way to honor the heroes of 1950: Maurice Herzog, Louis Lachenal and the entire expedition team.

The solidarity project: YVES POLLET-VILLARD FOUNDATION

Chamonix — France

Created in 1983, the association helps train Nepali mountain guides. President: Anselme Baud.
Give visibility and promote the association, especially among climbers and trekkers in Nepal who use the services of qualified guides and first aid workers.
Sustain the financial contribution to maintain the internships of Nepalese guides in Chamonix each year.

Because no ascent is possible without those who believe in it
become a sponsor
Each expedition requires months of preparation, logistics, and coordination. Nothing is done alone: the support of sponsors allows these projects to come to life and to always go a step further. Do you want to take part in the next ascent? Join the people who make the adventure possible!
