8516 m is high. This is my first experience in this “friendly folklore” of the Everest/Lhotse Nepali side base camp. With Sangay we remain faithful to our practice. Trekking and approach walking. Acclimatation to camp 3. Oxygen above camp 4 (7900 m) and only 3 bottles for the two of us; and back on foot! It seems normal but no we are among the exceptions.

The NGO Terre des hommes

As an ambassador for Terre des hommes, throughout my quest for the 14 peaks of more than 8,000 meters, I was committed to giving visibility to the organization's projects, in particular in Nepal and Pakistan, countries at the heart of my expeditions and where Terre des hommes carries out essential actions in favor of children and their families. Through my extraordinary career, I want to transmit a message of solidarity and perseverance, and thus contribute to strengthening the impact and reputation of Terre des hommes in its mission to protect children.
